Lock your settings for comparison and Motion Trails
On supported cameras, lock exposure, white balance, and focus individually. This reduces changes in brightness, color, and focus caused by automatic adjustments when recording footage for comparison or Motion Trails.
Stabilization starts off because the camera is intended for tripod use. Stabilization and individual lock settings appear when supported. Keep the camera fixed and lighting as consistent as possible.

Choose resolution and frame rate
Available settings vary by device and camera. Frame rate options also depend on the selected resolution. The actual recording values appear at the top right of the camera screen.
Choose a supported high frame rate to examine fast motion in finer steps. Recording frame rate and playback time-step precision are different: frame-by-frame analysis depends on the frames captured in the recording.

- Recordings are saved to your photo library and automatically added to a group in MOVINdow. Your photo library may sync with iCloud according to your device settings.
- Can I compare clips right after recording?
- Yes. Arrange the clips added to the app and play them in sync to compare another attempt or a reference video.
- Can I choose the resolution and frame rate?
- Yes. Available settings depend on your device, the camera you use, and the selected resolution. The actual recording values appear at the top right of the camera screen.
- Can I lock exposure, white balance, and focus?
- Each can be locked on supported cameras. Unsupported lock settings are not displayed.

- Keep the camera fixed on a tripod or other stable support. On supported cameras, lock exposure, white balance, and focus to reduce changes caused by automatic adjustments. Keep lighting as consistent as possible.
